FRIDAY!!! 43 Days to Christmas! OMG!

I've decided that I'm going to do one blog hop tour a week. I have several to choose from and all of them are fabulous, so I have to limit myself to one a week. This blog hop tour is hosted by . If you want to hop along, go on over and sign up. The question for this week is:

HAHAHAHAHA!!! I laughed out loud at this. Maybe I SHOULD have one. Well, I don't. I get my books through Paperback Swap, the library, friends, sneaking one into my grocery cart at Wal-Mart (Yes, I pay for it--but it comes out of the grocery money...shhh don't tell my husband), and as a last resort I visit my local bookstore and buy a nice hardcover book--but only if I have a coupon. Now, I do a lot of book browsing! I never go to Wal-Mart without pushing my cart down the book aisle and I can get lost in a bookstore--browsing--for hours. I once visited a BIG Borders and thought I had died and gone to heaven. So many books, ahhhh. Just remembering it brings back great memories.

I'm getting off track. The answer is: NO, I don't have one.

Happy Thanksgiving! Hope you spend some of your weekend sharing your books with your family!

  1. Hopping through and now following you! It's wonderful that you play piano at your church. I've been asked, but I'm too chicken to get up there and do it.

My book budget is slim to none... College student here who makes side money teaching piano (funny, eh?) with a TBR pile out of control.

  2. I was scared to death the first time I had to play, but now it's a lot easier. You should try it. You could make some money playing at Church (not a lot, but)--and then you could buy books!

    Thanks for following!

  3. Hello thanks for stopping by my blog earlier. Your blog is really nice. I couldn't play at church I don't think scared to death here too. I have played the bells but you could not see me that worked for me.

  4. LOL I loved your answer it sounds kinda like mine. I found another Walmart book shopper huh. I can't go in there without going to the book section too. If I go with my mom she's like I'll meet you back at the book area. She knows me to well. You should try a half price books if you have one near you. I love it and most of their books are as expensive as the big bookstores. The hardbacks are usually around 8 dollars and the paperbacks are anywhere from 2 dollars to 6 dollars. Have a good weekend.

  5. Book budget? What's a book budget?

Seriously, I don't have one. I don't keep on buying books until I hit
bankruptcy but neither do I hold myself back from buying a book that really
    speaks to me.

I exercise a fair amount of fiduciary responsibility but nothing so formal
as to be called a book budget.

    Thank God It's Follow Friday!
