The Importance of Being Ernest by Oscar Wilde

The Importance of Being EarnestThe Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This play was hilarious! It was certainly Victorian in its words and the things that the characters believed. Very well-done. I could just see the characters acting it out in my mind. Lady Bracknell was so obviously high-brow and uppity, and the girls very silly. I loved it!

  1. I love this play!!! It's hilarious. I'm glad you liked it.

  2. I just watched the movie version starring Colin Firth & Judi Dench - wonderfully witty!

  3. I have also only seen the movie version, and so I have to wait a few years before I can read the play (as I'll only see the movie actors in my head--no good). I also read Oscar Wilde for this challenge.

  4. I'm sure Colin Firth was amazing in it. I'll have to look for that movie.
